Midland Dexter Group Visit

A BIG thank you to The lovely people from The Midland Dexter Group. A very friendly lot, who came to visit Duffryn Dexters on Saturday. A nicer bunch you couldn't wish for!!!

We were lucky with the weather, so we were able to have a little walk around the different bunches before my new cows were assessed. One couldn't be done, which I had expected as she had badly damaged her stifle a few months before I bought her and her walk is now uneven although she doesn't limp.

I was quietly pleased with the scores and the assessor was kind enough to give an explanation of what he was doing which I think most of us enjoyed - followed by a very interesting question and answer session.

Photobucket won't allow me to put pics on here now so I shall put some pics of the day on Duffryn Dexters Facebook page later on.

Thank you again to everyone who came.

Stephanie

I've put some of the pics on Facebook and am not sure if this will work as a link or not.
