Well done Steve, really important to keep our herd book up to date and accurate, that's the main aim of the society lest we forget.

One of the problems with the herd book is the cattle that get sold to non members, I was recently trying to trace a cow and found she had been slaughtered, she was still alive on the herd book, hopefully she will now be recorded as dead as i notified the office. Sadly this means that a young bull will not be able to be registered. One thing everyone can do if you are a members is to send in hair sample of any cows you intend to cull.
