clash of dates

Dexter Soc AGM 7-9 Oct
York Rare Breeds Sale 7-8 Oct
For, literally, decades now, we in the north have asked for this clash of dates to be avoided and regularly receive promises from DCS to that effect. However, once again, the two events coincide. Is it really necessary for the Dexter AGM to be held on the same weekend as one of the two principal autumn auction sale outlets for Dexters in the north?
Could some kind person here kindly raise this matter at a DCS committee meeting?

Its to allow us in the north to buy cattle on AGM day under the current showing rules, as opposed to whatever is intruduced at the AGM for next year.

Duncan, Scotland is another country. I should perhaps have specified North of England.

On the plus side, the York sale dates mean I can take sheep to Masham sheep fair for the first time since 6 day standstill was introduced.
