Trust everyone is looking at their herd return for this year. Hopefully getting round to submitting it!

Can any of the more established members throw light on 'Q' numbers. What does it mean?
A 'Q' number has popped up on my paper herd return sent from the DCS office yet the 'Online Herdbook' throws no light on it.

A Q no means that the animal is not a full pedigree, previously you could grade animals up to full registration, I have a Q animal she is 16 and is 3/4 dexter one 1/4 welsh black, you can no longer grade up but as with my cow there must still be quite a few animals around who are not full dexters.

Office based morning today. Completed herd return this morning (paid membership by phone last week) - took a few minutes in total, very easy even for a techno dinosaur like me.
