AGM Amendment 1

The meaning of this suggested amendment is already included in the Articles under Rules, Para 50 (5) below.
"50 (5) The rules or bye laws, shall be binding on all members of the charity. No rule or bye law shall be inconsistent with, or shall affect or repeal anything contained in, the memorandum or the articles."
Once again these are the words issued by The Charities Commission and it would be very unwise to alter them. The amendment proposed could well remain as a Bye Law and is possibly only there to add the word "disrepute" to the Constitution. In my opinion this word in itself is vague and dangerous in law.
