Hi has anyone had a catalogue listing how many dexters are forward for York and in which order they will be judged, if so an approx sale time would be appreciated, and I'm sure other poeple would be intrested in how many animals are for sale

Steady on Ann, you seem over keen,the York sale is not till Oct, or is there an early one that i have missed.
If thats the case then we all need to know the info.

There are loads of dexters entered for the York Spring Sale this Saturday (23rd), so prices will be very interesting.
The weather is meant to be fine, so may well be worth a trip to sunny Yorkshire!

Any reports on the prices and turnout at the Sale anybody!

There were 19 registered dexters in the sale, some with young followers at foot and some in calf.some bulling heifers. Prices were not particularly high, unlike the Autumn sale, but the quality was not the same.
Example of prices: 5year old non-short, due to calve soon : 400 guineas, 8 year old cow with young bull calf....320 guineas.
