Dexter Focus Group

I am in the process of forming a "Dexter Focus Group" with the aim of looking at all aspects of herd and breed management, and how a breed society might be run to have a positive effect on the future of the breed.

This is not intended to be a critical group looking at past and present management of DCS, but a group learning both from each other and from outside sources, one of which will be Prof Sponenberg's book mentioned in other posts. I am hoping a wide variety of Dexter owners will take part in this, prepared to share knowledge and to learn from one another and emerge with a positive outlook on the future of the breed. Some may emerge with enough confidence and vision to stand for DCS Council in future years.

When we have a core of members we will set up communications within the group, and it is intended to be open about progress of the group with regular public updates.

If you would like to join this group, please email me duncan.macintyre@btopenworld.com

There are rumblings that things are going to be moving along very shortly on this front. So send Duncan an e-mail if you have not done so already.
