I bought a 2008 Isuzu 3.5 ton flatbed, got Bute Blacksmiths to rebuild the bed in aluminium, mounted the livestock body of my Ifor Williams 10ft demountable trailer on it, and i am very pleased with the result, much more manoeverable than the trailer, no need for a tacho, gets on our ferry for the price of a car, goodish fuel consumption on a longer journey compared to Land Rover and trailer. Payload possibly not as good as I had hoped but ok. Di's looks very smart, the "Luton" a very good feature as the cab of these things has no storage space.

Thankyou mark for letting me use your site. Thankyou Duncan for your kind comments. It really is a good truck but my old legs are finding it a bit heavy on the clutch nowadays! Wish I was younger, wouldn't part with it then. By the way the price quoted included VAT , forgot to say this.
