I am searching for historical photos - at this time - pre-1960. They will be added, along with registry information to the Legacy Registry ancestral pages as well as the Dexter Historical pages on FB. This gives everyone an opportunity to view early animals and information.
The pages of ancestor records on the registry continues to grow with entries from both the Irish and English # 1 herd books and many records in between. A couple of the Irish books have all the entries added. The English entries span all the years from #1 to modern. . . .with several of the 1930's herd books complete and more entries being added daily.
For those interested in pedigree research the files are growing daily and it is exciting. For ease of searching without a name or specific registry number just place EM ( English male) or EF( English female) in the search line.
A forum has been set up for information, questions and suggestions and will soon be tabbed to the animal search pages for easy access, but if you have requests or suggestions. . . it is: DexterCattleRegistry.proboards.com
