I purchased a lovely non short heifer last year in my capacity as a buyer - back as a vendor this year (maybe a buyer too!)

Phew, a bit last minute but I have entered six short legged, dehorned, halter trained cows and heifers (hopefully all in-calf)three red and three black.

If anyone would like to view them before the sale on farm, they would be most welcome (postcode NN13 5TX)

The sale is Saturday 14 September, apparently a good entry of Dexter's forward - plenty of choice for Buyers.

Final entries are 26 in the inspected haltered sale and something like 90 in the herd dispersal non inspected, non haltered section.Lots of very interesting breedlines including pure Woodmagic, Langley End, Saltaire, Linford, Needles Hall......

Biggest sale for as long as i have known so it should be a very busy day.

Just read in Farmers Guardian Melton Mowbray Market Advert that there will be no unhaltered cattle at the sale on 13th. What happens to the dispersal sales?
