Fodder for sale

Post by Mark Bowles »

I know this is a long shot but maybe someone out there may be short of fodder.
Haylage, good quality wrapped in June 2013, 4.5 ft x 33inches x 33inches sq bales £22
Hay, small bale £4.00 June 2013, taken from enviromental stewardship meadow and full of herbs, brilliant stuff.
I can deliver the small bales in my cattle trailer if required but i would need to cover my costs.
PM me if you are interested.
thanks

I think you might have more luck with the small bales Mark - I've had no end of trouble with selling hay and other things just lately. Last week someone wanted two bales delivering to Harrogate, so I arranged a back load and then they cancelled at the last minute, but obviously I had to go anyway. Then on Saturday someone rang up and said they'd set off immediately for a couple of bales, from an hour away, and they still haven't turned up. Also last week we sold a calf feeder - the buyer was very keen and said he'd send payment immediately, and that was the last we've heard from him. As far as the hay goes I'm thinking we'd be better off just getting some more cattle and putting it through them!
