Its called The World of Dexter Cattle.
Proceedings of The First World Congress on Dexter Cattle.
Edited by Andrew Sheppy
There are papers on different subjects that were presented at the congress by members from all over the world.
Unfortunately a lot were destroyed by a previous administration as it was said there was nowhere to store them! I may have a spare copy, will have a look.

Shame on them destroying stuff like that Di, almost as bad as throwing out hundreds of doses of semen from Ilsington Bramble which was DONATED by me.

Could someone, who knows Andrew Sheppy personally, enquire if he has any objection to the book being scanned as .PDF and posted on DCS website on open access.
I may say I was surprised to find the "Dexter Archive" page on DCS blank. I was expecting a link to, or .PDF of, the "Cardiff thesis", which I wished to consult. I understood this was freely available on/through DCS website. Any suggestions where it's gone?
I fail to understand the logic of destroying semen when it costs so much to collect. Why were not the books and semen offered to the membership on a "reduced to clear" sale basis?

Andrew Sheppy was the editor, the book was the proceedings of the first world dexter congress and was published by DCS who hold the copyright. DCS destroyed boxes of the books. I would find it very strange if DCS now refused a member the right to copy one for the use of another member. Maybe someone should ask councilfor permission to do that.
