Dexter Cattle For Sale Discussion Board

Our calf show is held by invitation of the North of England Aberdeen Angus Group and judging for the Dexters will not start before 11am. We have our own ring and you do not need to be a member to enter, although the trophy for the champion is for members only.
There is a café at the venue which will be open for drinks, meals & snacks. This is a very enjoyable day and as well as our lovely dexters there will be several other breeds exhibiting in other rings.
We have 3 classes for calves and after the Champion and reserve champions have been chosen there is a pairs class also. both animals to be owned by the same person.
Even if you do not intend to show in earnest this is a good place to get your calves use to being handled and who knows you might get bitten by the bug if you win. Prize money in all classes except the pairs class when we have bottles of wine for the first 3 places. Super rosettes to.

There is no charge for spectators.

I just thought I would remind anyone interested in a nice day out looking at lots of dexters under cover that its our calf show this saturday and we have a really good entry, over 40 calves if they all turn up. Judging starts at 11 and the cafe is open all day.
