show heifers

hello everyone, hope alls well,we have had a well bad time, not going to moan on about it, but 2 things wer my beautful little show heifer was killed by a bully cow at 2 months old and heathers little show cow dropped dead yesterday,so on saying that has any one got any show stock for sale thanx jean :( :) :(

Can't help with the heifer but, you're not alone; we've got off to a bad start with calving. A first time heifer looks to have had a dead calf and the poor girl has cleaned it in vain. :( We had a similar start to lambing with the first lamb being rejected, followed by the mother dying a couple of weeks later. Only lost one lamb since & the lambs are doing well so I'm hoping it's the same with the Dexters.

Zanfara Twinkleberry is still available, red non-short, horned, now bulling heifer. Shown once, Wolsingham 2012, 1st place in class of five. PM for up to date photo & further details.

How much are you wanting for Twinkleberry now Louisa? I've been hoping on the opportunity of coming to take her off your hands but having a few hundred spare and the time to take a trip up North never seem to coincide. I was supposed to be buying some steers up that way, and would have just had a heifer sized space in the trailer but it fell through when they decided to keep them.

I have a couple of showable short black heifers for sale, just weaned and about to be TB tested. I have not haltered them unfortunately as i had 6 shorts last year, none this year yet, i suppose i have used up my lucky quota!!
