Dexter Cattle For Sale Discussion Board

The legendary Miss Noreen Lloyd, our oldest member at 109 yrs, owner and breeder of the Pentrehobyn Herd, three times president of The Dexter Cattle Society, first in 1936 and renown judge, sadly died on Tuesday 5th March 2013.

The funeral will be held on Friday 22nd March at 12 noon at Christ Church, Pontblyddyn, CH7 4HG. (on the Mold to Wrexham Road)

A background to this remarkable lady is on page 16 of the Dexter Cattle Society Bulletin - Number 179 January 2013.

I did not know this lady, or ever meet her. But I remember being told very fond stories of her and her cattle by other longstanding Dexter members . What a remarkable and fulfilling life.

My goodness she had a great innings!

What remarkable women she and her sister were.

I have the little booklet writen on her "miss lloyd remembers" and its a fascinating read!
