I have posted the Melton prices.

Could anyone please inform of the Exeter and Holsworthy prices, including how many did not sell and what sort of quality the animals were.

Are these markets in 'low forage' areas this year?

Prices at holsworthy were low, but there were a lot of poorer sorts forward and also a lot of unregistered animals which drags the prices down. Dealers bought the majority of animals so you know the prices were not great!. However prices for steers were not bad at all.
I did not go to Exeter but heard the quality and the prices were much better.
Forage supply here is not too bad, but straw prices are a killer and I do think that is putting some people off buying this year.
