Posting frozen meat

Post by springwater »

Can anyone recommend a company to deliver my frozen beef and lamb, please? I have enquiries from some distance away and it just isn't feasible to deliver it myself.
Many thanks

Carina - Can you post frozen? I don't know! Isn't there a danger of it partially defrosting?

I have ordered online before to see what beef is like from other breeds, but it's always arrived chilled and fresh in polystyrene boxes, and sometimes iced-filled bubble-wrap.

Buccleuch meats used to send out frozen food. they used poly boxes and dry ice. There meat was dreadful anyway. but i believe it did arrive frozen.

I think unless you send mid winter, your frozen produce will be defrosted.

PS. Forgot to say all the meat I've ever received by mail was vacuum-packed. Not saying it has to be, just how it was.
