Being the sort of person that likes to be able to refer to a book, does anyone have a recommendation? I am after 2 types I guess, one which would be useful as a cattle health reference and one for that would cover basic to advanced husbandry tasks, diet etc. Suggestions gratefully received.

I have a bible! It is not for the weak of heart though because the modern version is in full, glorious technicolour and I skip most of those pages 'cos I am squeamish!
It is "A Veterinary Book for Dairy Farmers by R.W.Blowey. published by Farming Press ISBN 0-85236-499-7
My vet said "Blowey? Excellent" Mind you, he always says "Jo You've been reading again" when I wonder if a cow or sheep (Henderson is that bible) is suffering from some dread disease ... bet Duncan sympathises with him!
