We went to the AGM two weeks ago and had a marvelous week-end, thanks to the warm welcome received from Di and Vera, also from Lindsey and Tony Bennett. About twenty of us had a lovely meal at the Railway Bell on Friday night. The AGM went extremely well on Saturday morning, no hassle no arguments, followed by a lovely buffet. Saturday afternoon we lokked at cows, or rested ready for the barn dance in the evening. Again we had a lovely meal and some great enternment which included a little ditty sung by Jo Kemp which received lots of applause. Sunday morning Di took us to see Dover which was bathed in sunshine, and a glorious blue sky. We also saw some more of Di's cattle. She took us to a little cafe where we had fruit scones with cream and jam. We left for home about two thirty, wishing we could have stayed for the whole week. Kelvin and Lottie James.

We are Nico & Annemiek from Holland.
We were in the UK (with Silke Warneke) a few weeks ago. We visited some herds, people were very grateful. We had a warm welcome at all herds!
For us this was a great experience, we enjoyed every minute.
Of course we were also at the AGM. We even did the barn-dance.
We've met a lot of DCS-members, and we will be back some day.
Thanks to all.

Considering what an enjoyable day we all had at the AGM I'm surprised there hasn't been more postings. The group made us all very welcome the slides shows where very interesting, the food was excellent and the trip to see Di's cattle was fun especially feeding time for all the cattle with bread, to see a calf grab a french bread and run of with it was very comical, unfortunately it was to quick for me to get a photo.
Thank you to Di from us Northerner's, your new home is lovely I hope you will be snug and warm this winter and thanks for the tea and sainsbury's special biscuits.
The evening entertainment was just warming up when we left at ( 9 pm) as we had a couple of hours drive to my friends home, did we miss much? A great AGM see you all next year in Ireland!

You missed the barn-dance!
For us as Dutchies the hardest part was the translation, but looking the neighbours and copiing them it was much easier.
