Thank you to everyone who came to the North of England Dexter Group calf show on Sunday at Thirsk. It was a great day - with only one or two novices being dragged round the show ring and one of them was me! :laugh:

Thank you to Ann for all her hard work in organising the show, thank you to Carol for the judging, and thank you to Carolann and Carol for teaching us all so much.

We look forward to an even bigger and better show next year!

Just a quick one to say I'm glad everyone enjoyed the day. The venue was great and it was lovely to meet the Nuttal family unfortunetly I didn't get much time to chat to them, also to see four juniors showing calves was a real treat and hopefully I will get some pictures on the website in the next week. I think Caroline, Richard and Brendan have to be commended as their first venture into the show ring was with other peoples calves and as everyone knows, dexters can be very naughty.
Hopefully next years event will be even better.
