For those who record your movements on the BCMS website there is now a change to recording off's and on's at the same time. The BCMS system only updates at the end of the day so if you try and move a animal on after recording an off (for example going to a show) the system tells you that the animal is still on your holding.
Apparently it can be done by selecting "Upload and Download" and then "Upload Movements" 'click here' and then select "Off and On Holding" from the drop down menu. Then "Add to list" "Check breed Sex" and then "Send".
As i made the mistake of just doing a "Movement Off" I do not know if the above works as I am not sure how the dates work if the off and on are not on the same date. I have to go back on the site to record my movement on tomorrow. Progress Eh!!
Don't forget you need the Government Gateway user id to access the BCMS site

Does this method work? Have just fallen foul of the already on holding bit.
Off holding is easy as you just tick the box next to the animal.
But on holding means typing in full passport number, so if this does work will mean its a lot simpler,
Had read this before but forgot about it till now.
