Here is my attempt at an amusing photo - maybe a bit yuck though?!
Anyone got any funny or cute Dexter pic? Cheer us up while we wait for nice dry fields.

Steve,
Your bull in the ring feeder made me laugh out loud, gave me a real fit of the giggles.
He has such a dopey look as well, as though... 'hmmm how'd I get in this'.

Blimey Steve - that is a small bull pen! How did you get him out, could you roll the feeder off or did you have to lift it off with tractor and loader?

Glad you enjoyed it Vicki, have to admit we were 'gob smacked' when we saw him!
Saffy - he's such a cool dude, we just lifted one side and he strolled out. The amazing thing was that he'd actually moved the feed ring to the water trough so that he could get a drink too!
Dexters....we love 'em.

I had a bull do that Steve but he also tried to get out the way he got in. But trying to get out, his hips opened up and acted like a barb on a fishing hook. I had to saw one pole off whilst he stood there. :D

I just love the way calves stick their tongues up their noses. I was doing "huffy noses" with one at the weekend and got the tongue up my nose instead!

I don't know Steve, the vision of him pulling the feeder of to water, set me off again.
We had a neighbours tuli calf get it's head stuck in a tree trunk that had be cut and left a hole wide at the top and narrow at the top... talk about a curfuffle getting his head out, we ended up smothering vaseline on him and it slipped out. Was he pleased to see his mother.

A familiar sight when you have inquisitive cattle!
Trying to be artistic - or some would say too much time on my hands!

Love the pics everyone! Must get the camera out - Dexters are just hilarious but usually when no camera about.
Love that last one Mark - fab colour and he/she just looks really contended (to me!) a really nice eye.
All the best
