If you are a Dexter owner or a would be Dexter owner in the Monmouthshire area why not come along to the next meeting, we would love to see you.
We are a having a short stock judging workshop, lead by Geoff Turbutt. Plus the usual cuppa, cake and chat about Dexters.
Starting at 10.30 am.

Just a bit to add to the above post - Alan Carrington - a DCS Council Member, has kindly sent me a copy of the handouts from the recent Dexter Beef Meeting for us to look at over our cuppa and is hoping to attend and answer any questions he can about Dexter Beef Production and Sales.
Also if you are outside Monmouthshire and don't have a Dexter Group near you but don't mind travelling to our meetings, you will be most welcome.

We had a good meeting, with a fantastic turnout, including several new faces.
Many thanks to Geoff Turbutt, who gave us an interesting grounding in what we should look for in a cow - whatever the breed, perhaps particularly useful with Dexters being of different types. I think we all enjoyed his workshop and learned something from it.
