Yep, we had similar results about 95% plus. Had it done because I thought the bull wasn't working......but he was. Vet said he must be a nightworker :D.

I have reared a bull on this year and he has been with the cows. We had them scanned last week and out of ten cows nine were in calf. The one that wasn't had spent three months with the bull but she is coming up to 14 years old so wondered that perhaps that is the reason.

All of mine caught the bull, young and old. All of the ones (3 cows) that didn't catch are overweight. I've now culled two of them. One last year who was overweight and had missed a year, and then put on even more weight because of missing, was given an injection by the vet and she is now also in-calf.
