:) WELL atlast on friday evening we picked up our first dexter beef from the butcher, and as soon as we got home sorted it all out and i coulndnt believe how much we got, alot of it has gone as thank yous to friends for helping us so much in our first year of starting with dexters,but come saturday morning i couldnt wait no longer and at about 10,30 paul and myself where tucking into sirloin steak and boy was it good, :;):

Well done Claxton family. It's fantastic stuff isn't it; no wonder all the chefs keep choosing it. Can remember our first steaks. Couldn't believe it and they tasted the same at the end as they did when you started, instead of going stringy at the end like a lot of modern beef. I wonder what it is that does that?

Hello Clacko. Nothing beats the taste of your first beef! We had our first in September. We couldn't believe how much you get back either! Sold too much of it though so hardly any left for ourselves now - so we're looking forward to the next one! (Might have to keep a bit more for ourselves!)
