Hi Mark
I have been wondering for a while about the rating system and thought I had it worked out but now I don't think I have so maybe you will enlighten us

I think it all depends on length of leg.

So Stephanie, what is wrong with my legs? They are both the same length. are they too long or too short?
Interestingly Mike Hasshill claims to be a very tall short leg.

Now Duncan if you would like me to check out your legs that is easy.....you will need to wear the kilt to the next AGM and I will hand out a few Linear Assessment Forms to some willing helpers and I will average out the results for you. :;):
Going back to the original question that Ann asked, I think I can answer you actually Ann. Somewhere or other you can find an option to rate another user but you cannot rate yourself. I think it is in each members profile.

seriously now,
I am sure I have asked this before but whilst on this subject can someone please explain what an anonymous member is? I understand the public member as someone who is registered and a guest is someone who is not. I do recall Ann tried to answer my question but to be honest I did not understand what she meant - sorry. Would someone be kind enough to run it by me again?

A forum can be set up in all sorts of ways. You can set one up so that everyone has to be registered and login before they can see anything. Or you can set it up so that anyone can read but not post unless they are logged in. You can set up private boards so that only those people registered can ever see anything at all. I think this one is set up so that you can see anything if you are not logged in (a Guest) but you have to login using your username and password to do a posting.

I would put Duncan as medium legged must be down to the scarce grazing up in the highlands

I remember Duncan had plenty of grass in the paddock of some Dexters he posted a picture of on here. So his cattle can't be underfed. :;):

I'm sure Duncan's cattle will be very well fed, I don't think that was the issue
