I was just looking at Amazon website and noticed that Ted Neals book is on there from a seller for £500!!(The postage is however a very reasonable £2.75)
I am strongly considering kidnapping Ted and putting him on ebay with my own copy for a "BUY IT NOW" price of £1000 (post at cost)

Obviously up to Ted, but if he writes another book, put me down for 50 copies, (signed!!)

Lisa, do you know if it is one of the hard back copies?

Well it says "slight creasing to cover" so I would assume it's a soft cover. I've got one you can have for just £450 if you want, plus postage. I thought it might be a number of zeros mistake, but looking at the sellers other items, these sorts of prices and more are commonplace. It'll be interesting to see if it sells.

If you want to buy it, can I ask that you do so through the Dexter Beef Online bookstore, as that way a commission will go directly into web advertising via Google for our beef. www.bookstore.dexterbeefonline.co.uk

Ted - I have a confession to make before you find out yourself. I have put my copy of your book on Amazon as well, but at just half price (£250!), what a bargain. It's a brilliant, quality book but some people would sell their mother for enough money, so I feel very guilty! Mind you, I'm sure I'll get over it if someone buys it though.

Clive, you traitor. I bet you really have a spare copy. Nobody is getting my copy, tattered and all as it may be.

Ted, wont you turn the tables on them and consider a reprint after all? It is the best Dexter book I have read.

Very kind of you Beryl; but if I did what would happen to Clive's investment on a new photocopier ??
Actually at 10p per copy it is only £7.90.
Regards
Ted

If it is reprinted, can I please buy a copy too? I haven't had the chance to read the first printing. :) Couldn't afford 250 pounds though. ;)

There are quite a few Dexter books on eBay at the moment and the bidding looks very good. Even herd books are on there.

Perhaps the time is right to say that a reprint of Beryl Rutherford's "My Love Affair With The Dexter" is on the way. I hope to be able to distribute it as the first run, but cannot give prices yet as exact costs not known.
