Warriner School in Bloxham near Banbury are looking for a new bull for their herd of Dexters. They would like one aged 18mths or over, non short and to carry the red gene if possible. Dehorned or naturally polled would also be an advantage as the Dexters are handled daily by the school children, so a placid nature is also a must. If anyone has a young bull or knows someone with a bull that may be suitable they can be contacted on 01295 721471.
Warriner school is a secondary school with its own farm breeding rare breeds of cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and horses etc.

I am not directly involved with the school but have attended their open day during the summer and met with the farm manager.

I have 2 of their cows from the bull they eventually got. Both very friendly and both produced cracking dexterxhereford calves, one I sold on as soon as weaned and the steer I still have, he is huge.
