I sold my last three dexters today and they left our holding at about 3.00pm for a new home in Herefordshire. I was sad to see them go but consoled myself that I will hopefully restock later in the year or early next year when we have relocated.

No Sylvia, we're too old for that now, although about fifteen years ago we were all set for a move there. My wife had got a physio job lined up but the sale of our place here fell through. We've often thought what might have been, my youngest could have played cricket for NZ and been an All Black :D

We fancy Shropshire, Herfordshire or possibly further up the North Wales coast in the direction of Chester. Dexters will most definately be on the agenda again when we are settled and with the extra knowledge gleaned from these pages, with a bit of luck, I'll make better choices than I did than when I first purchased dexters.

Are you sure its too late to emergrate? :;): I come across UK retirees over here all the time. They contact me for hens once they've settled. There are some warmer places here in Winter. Well, places without snow anyway. :D
