???

this time last year we started our dexter heard.about 4 weeks after picking up the cows and calves our best dun calf developed a wart on her eyelid,at first it just looked like a piece of cow muck flicked on the face. after 6 weeks the heifer had them in her ears and on her leg we also noticed there ws something funny on 1 of her teats, when my partner tried to inspect she knocked it and it dropped off,i can explain it looking like a faggot about the size of a golf ball .the teat it was attatched to at this point was about 4 inches long. we called the vet and he gave us a course of antibiotics for the teat and it shrank back to normal size. the problem is she is now in calf due in february and the end of the teat is gone and i wasnt sure what we can do about it????

Probably best to wait till she calves and then be sure to check that the teat is open. If it is not get your vet to have a look and it may be possible to open it if the end has been damaged.
