Dexter Cattle For Sale Discussion Board

Someone said they were looking for some small Dexters. I can't access the normal site so I hope you don't mind me mentioning it here and it's a bit out of the ordinary in any case.

I have 2 tiny heifers that I won't put to my bull because of their size. I'm not sure he'd find them! They are both black, around 2 years, nice characters and very small. I just want a good home for them and won't want much money-wise. We are in a 1 year TB test zone and a test is due in the next few months. One has a slight "click in the heel", otherwise they look fine to me.

Good evening Clive, I believe that I am that someone looking for a tiny cow for the kids. Because I couldn't find one they have been looking at Jerseys, because they love them too. I had been looking into a steer that they could have at a week old. Anyhow its all on hold as you know. We are going to keep the numbers down for cattle, just a few as pets and perhaps show and then just breed sheep and pigs, best suited for our land etc. When the situation is settled we will resume the search and come back to you.
