Our smallholding has always been a hobby and as such, we've never claimed anything. Circumstances have changed a little and we now need to put some figures in.
We put our own just under 30 months entire dexter bull in the freezer last November. Before the carcass was boned, it weighed 220 kgs. Can people help me out by saying what they think it would have been worth if I'd actually sold it ?

I'd say 75% of the "including bone weight" times £8 a kilo or whatever price you think you could sell it for average (and that's our average price at the moment). Or alternatively, about £6 a kilo cost....I'm half-guessing the cost. Accounts are normally done on a cost basis aren't they? i.e. £6 not £8?

So that's 220 x 75% x £6 I'd say.
