A quick reminder about our open day at Breoch Park, New Abbey near Dumfries DG2 8HL Tel. 01387 850554
10th June (a week tomorrow!) 11am till 4pm - if you come early tis fine but we may grab you to help set up!
Time is wizzing by this year.

All being well, Duncan MacIntyre will be demonstrating hoof trimming using cattle gates as a crush
Veronica Schofield will be updating everyone in the gene project
Mary Kay, Veronica and Duncan will be looking at my herd, explaining their weak (& I hope stronger!) points. We also hope they will examine Breoch Sultan for the stage 2 of the Elite scheme ....
We will start with a quick look around the farm - only 50 acres so quite quick and I shall try to explain my aims & objectives!
We hope to have a beef tasting too, during the lunch picnic break.
I'd be grateful if everyone who hopes to come would contact either Duncan or me so we have an idea as to parking etc.
I hope to entice a few local commercial farmers .. at least 2 neighbours are interested in Dexters - for their own tables anyway! An opportunity to influence the outside world?
Regards to all
Jo
PS been quiet as we've been clearing a cottage and it was VERY full!

It looks as though, weather permitting, there should be about 24 locals, mainly farmers attending. A great chance to influence the 'outer world'.... getting quite nervous!
