I have pair of ewe lambs/yearlings for sale as we are trying to keep our flock small! They are actually the only 2 ewe lambs born last year, I am NOT simply selling off the ones I don't like.

The breed are very placid and lazy and don't tend to look to get out. They are a rare breed. We eat the ram lambs and they taste very good indeed! However they are slow to mature and so kill out at 6 months to a year but this helps the flavour as well.

I keep them with or behind my horses to keep the pasture nice and minimise worm burden.

Born beginning of April 06.
Both twins but not to each other.
Friendly, healthy, bucket trained, wellgrown,registered.
Quality stock. Ready for ram this autumn.

I had a look on the web and there is a Dartmoor/Grey-Faced Forum at http://www.greyface-dartmoor.org.uk/index.php?s=5&t=0. Have you tried there as well?

I will have a look at your Shetlands now. Ooo, I didn't realise Shetlands came in differnt colours, very photogenic!

I forgot to mention I am happy to keep the ones I am selling until they go to the tup if it is useful to the buyer, as I have an excellent, unrelated ram.

Well Duncan,

On close inspection I would have to say definately short legged and also very hairy legged indeed.

However I think we should be discreet and keep this information between ourselves........even sheep have feelings and I am not sure how they would take to me making snide comments about their conformation behind their backs! :;):

They have led a sheltered life and are very genteel, well mannered sheep on the whole.
