Just to let those of you who have been following this saga know that our 3rd test was this week. Dexters and our goats were tested and all have gone clear. We are hoping to reduce our herd by about half so I'd appreciate it very much if anyone wanting cows, heifers or weaned calves, some registered, some not would contact me ASAP, thanks.

Whew, that'll be a big sigh of relief Sylvia. Hope your sales go well.

So pleased for you Sylvia, especially as I knew you were especially worried about Sophie So Sweet.
Good luck

We have also got the all clear on a third test last week - only had to re-test two because we put them in isolation after the first test - the vet said all along 'there's no ruddy problem with these cattle' -however it has put the steer over 30 months - does anyone know where there is a register of over 30 month slaughterhouses

Where are you Oliver1921? It might be quicker to find one near you if you tell us. I don't know of a register.
