Just a quick note to let all those in the North who are not Northern Dexters members, that the AGM is to be held at Temple Newsham, Leeds, this Sunday, January 21st at 11am.
New members are welcome and everyone is invited to bring some food so that a general buffet can be enjoyed by all.
Elections will be held for committee ( but non-members will be unable to vote on issues at the AGM)

Look forward to seeing you there

I would just like to add to Pennys invite.
I have noticed the enormous number of dexter keepers listed in the 2005 herdbook, just in Yorkshire alone, far more than Devon where i always thought had the highest numbers.
Local Dexter groups are always worth attending, i challenge anyone to come away from a meeting without picking up some kind of new information on Dexters or their keepers.
So come on you northern dexter keepers, go along, you dont have to join, have a good day out with likeminded people and a good natter, and dont say you dont enjoy a good natter because you are reading this discussion board arent you!!!

The Northern Group AGM was well surported with a total of 24 members present.

The venue was very good and the idea of everyone bringing food went down well.

Hopefully there will be a news letter sent out in the next few weeks bring all the Northern members up to date with group activities for the forth coming year and news.

The new chairman is now Geoff Harrison, with Rod Metcalfe as Vice Chairman and Ann Gates now the new secretary, all other posts as before.

Hello Ann,

if you contact Ann Gates, she is the new secretary and can send you a membership form. Just click on her name on the previous posting and an email can be sent to her.
