Hello all
May I please ask for your advice from the collective wisdom. My eldest steer (18 months) has been entirely healthy, outdoors all year on good grazing and appears very content. However, a month or so ago, I noticed what looked like a haemorrhoid on his anus - about 1cm and pink/red. I have monitored it and it has very slowly got larger but appears to give him no discomfort. Today, it is approx 2cm and looks quite angry with a seapage of blood in paces. Again, no signs of discomfort or illness.
Should I call out the vet or can someone tell me what it is and how to treat it?
Thanks in advance.
