Hello Sue,

I didn't particularly want to put my address in the forum.

The postcode is up there for - sat nav people.

Stephanie Powell Therapies - is on a sign at the top of my farm driveway.

Any forum member can simply PM me and I will more than willingly give them the full address, my phone number and email. :D

I have sent you and Patricia a letter with it all on this morning Sue, so you won't need to.

If anyone would like a letter and isn't in the 2006 herd book please give me your address.

I was in a rush when I replied - lots on today, now I have logged on again I realise I didn't actually answer the question you asked, sorry - perhaps I should be a politician!!!

Anyway Stephanie Powell Therapies is my little therapy business which I run from home, I mostly treat muscle, tendon and ligament injuries, with a Sports Injury Massage but I am also an Aromatherapist and Scenar Therapist.

Hello Again,

I would like to make it clear that anyone can come along to the farm on 21st.

You don’t need to live in Monmouthshire or have bought your Dexters yet and if you have Dexters they can be registered or unregistered.

As long as you live near enough to attend our meetings and are interested in keeping Dexters you will be VERY welcome!

Unfortunatly Sunday is Rare breeds day at the 3 Counties, some of our local folk are also rare breeders, but a brain storming session is a good idea, then we can tell interested people, our ideas.

Thank you to those that came today.

To those that couldn't make it but are interested, it went well, we had a lovely chat, a cuppa and a bit to eat and walk around our little herd. It was a friendly bunch that came - thanks for coming!!!

We have agreed to meet up again in August at another herd and the info of when and where will be posted on here.

Next time we are all going to bring a food item sweet or savoury.

What an enjoyable afternoon meeting new faces, from varied walks of life, but with one thing in common we are all the proud owners of Dexters be they short ,non short, (or in between), polled ,horned,black, dun or red, they are all very special,

Thanks to you and Chris for your hospitality, we all enjoyed the walk around your very well behaved, beautiful Dexters.

Hello again,

Our little group are meeting again, this time Suzie and Iain have generously offered to host us.

Once again all are invited that feel able to travel to the meeting – we would love to see you! Suzie is making cake to go with the tea and coffee, I shall also be bringing something – possibly quiche. If you would like to bring a cake or something savoury that would be lovely.

The meeting is on August 2nd at 3pm, we will have an informal chat about the Dexters followed by a look around the cows.

Their property is 6miles from Monmouth and about 15 from Abergavenny in the Monnow Valley and the email address for directions is: cazmir@aol.com

Our last meeting was excellent, many thanks to Suzie and Iain, who were wonderful hosts!

They put on a very nice spread for us and showed us around their beautiful garden as well as of course their lovely Dexter Herd.

The next meeting will be in the Llanthony Valley as Emma and Rob Powell have kindly offered to host us and show us around their herd on Sunday 27th September starting at 2pm.

If you haven't been to one of our meetings before, they are very informal, we have got into the habit of having a chat, a cuppa and a peice of cake to start with, whilst everyone arrives and then a walk around the Dexters. Followed by more chat really! We would be delighted to see new members, so if you are in Monmouthshire, or close by, please do come along!!!

I am posting news of our next meeting on here a little earlier than usual as I am going to be away for a couple of weeks, it is a little sooner than usual as well.

We all had a wonderful time with Emma and Rob Powell! It was interesting for us to look around a big herd for a change and in such a lovely scenic area too. Also it was lovely to be able to meet one of our new members, there are a couple of other new members that will perhaps be able to come to the next meeting.

Ruth and Simon Hindle have offered to host the next one and have suggested we meet there on November 1st, at the same time 2pm. Ruth says – bring wellies!!!
