I would retract my Sept 30th post if I could. I couldn't have touched enough wood, because it mozzed one of our cows.

We had a breach, legs forward, had to push the calf away to get the back legs, poor little mum.

The vet clinic sent injection & pessaries out on the mail bus, and even though she hasn't cleaned out yet, the little cow looks quite well, and has started moving further away from her dead calf, luckily because the weather is too hot to leave it much longer.

What does "mozzed" mean Margaret. Is it an Australian word or a typo?

Strange, I had to re-log-on to send a post. A screen I hadn't seen before. Seems OK now.

Clive, it means putting a hex or bad spell on yourself or someone else inadvertently, by merely mentioning an unfortunate outcome.

Superstition to which I do not adhere, fortunately, because that was calf number 13 for the season!!

I assumed it was a universal expression, sorry. (I don't get out much)
