Hi Inger,

I Learnt something new from your post. :D

I thought the only Blue Tongue here in Australia was the lizard.

Will have to find out more, looks as though it hasn't come too far south, but like Buffalo Fly and Cane Toads I'm sure it will.

Just found this from the DPI QLD http://www2.dpi.qld.gov.au/health/3943.html on how they control etc Blue Tongue... interesting.

Minnie Thank you very much for the website address it is really amazing that it takes Deafra 10 pages of incomprehensible waffle,to say less than the Queensland Government do in one paragraph, I shall now write to Ben Bradshaw .....sorry folks outside the UK you wont know who he is or what he does....come to that we in this country are not sure what he does but he goes by the title of Agriculture Minister .I shall keep you posted on the reply. I thought the succinct Queensland Information might be something every livestock owner should print out and have ready just in case. Thanks for enlightening me as to who Ben Bradshaw is, Sue, I thought he sold water garden equipment.
