Woodmagic Manikin 3rd

I have a feeling Woodmagic Manikin 3rd has retired, she is 18 years old this month, photo taken last week. But as she was bulling recently and appears to be in rude health we have popped the bull in with her to see what happens.

Manikin is looking very well. Fingers crossed she holds to the bull.
Thomasina, my 18 year cow, is looking poor in comparison but she is still suckling a stonking bull calf born last Sept. Thomsina has been running with the bull Feb-May but hasn't held. I'm giving her a holiday now and will try again next year. I think she deserves a break after 16 calves.
All the Dexters are now on summer keep and there was much jostling for position with each trailer load dropped off. Except for Thomasina. No-one made a serious challenge for her position as Boss Cow.
