Sad news

We have lost another stalwart member of our society. Geoff Harrison, Grandad to Aimee and our Past President's, Sheila Sykes,carer. He died suddenly earlier this week. You may have met Geoff at shows with Sheila and Aimee. He looked after Sheila as well as showing her cows, not easy as Sheila is wheelchair bound. Geoff was always cheerful and we used to have such fun when he was around. I can remember many happy times at the Royal Show. Geoff converted the cattle trailer to very comfortable living accommodation for Sheila after he had tipped the cows out!
We will miss you so much Geoff. Condolences to all those close to him. RIP.

Sad news indeed, will be missed at the shows. Always helpful when I was struggling to get kit and cattle sorted out single handed. Sincere condolences to kith and kin.

only met Geoff a few years ago and even though I was butt of many of his jokes he was a great help at the show top bloke

Geoff at Sutton Bonnington show 2004. Always had a bit of banter, he will be sadly missed.

The funeral is 12 April at 2.45 at Huddersfield crematorium
