I have been informed on the dexter grapevine that John Lee has passed away over the Christmas period. John had been ill for a while but that didn't stop him helping me with the show points calculations this last October. Personally I had known John for a few years in and around the showring and as a member of the judges committees, he never had an ill word for anybody and was a proper true gentleman.
I hope to post more details when I have them.

Re: Mr John Lee
I am very sorry to hear this sad news.
John Lee was easy company, a good listener and made a point of having a kind word for everyone.

Very Sorry to hear this news.
John was a Great Diplomat for our breed, very quietly spoken but always had time to help with what ever was needed.
He will be sadly missed by all in the West Country.
As you said Mark a True Gentleman.

I can only reiterate what has been said above. John will be a great loss to our society and our breed.

Oh my life, not another one! How absolutely dreadful. Very sad to hear of his passing.
