Our loader tractor is one of the older pieces, a grey gold ferguson that is about 60 years of age and still going strong after being rescued from the nettles in the mid-nineties.

When I was a little girl there was a man worked for my parents called Bert leader, he put his initials in the concrete on a windowsill in the stables - they are still there and I smile when I see them. He was a lovely man, good with children, a family friend and my Godfather. I remember that if I was very well behaved I was allowed to roll a cigarette for him with a little metal machine he had, this was before I started school and for me it was magic! I am now 57.

tThe oldest thing on our farm is Geoff age 72 still looking after our dexters with his 1963 Massey fergie which he was brought up on when he left school

Possibly my hay fork which came from my home, I do have my Dad's leaving home box which he gave me to use as a show box he left home to start work at 14 in 1928, not sure if this counts.

An old railway goods waggon body used as a shed. It's a year younger than I am, but older than Ann!
