It is nearly the end of August and so far i have put 79 adverts for cattle onto the site this month alone with some still to do and still coming in. Its mad! Whats going on? Is the site getting more interest or are more people desperate to sell.
By the way, pictures sell, so take a good one for your sale animal if you can, it will pay dividends. 1 hour from posting on the web to getting a sale is the recent record.

Hello Mark,

Maybe people are at last realising what a good way to sell the Dexter this site is?

Although I DO wish they would be kind enough to tell you when they HAVE sold as it is annoying when I see a cow I would very much like, only to find she was sold long ago when I enquire.

This is I know NOT your fault I know as you removed mine within hours of my request, sellers forget about the ad once they have made their sale.

It is a brilliant way to sell and I agree - take a photo, I want to see what I am getting, there is no way I will consider travelling to see something without seeing a pic!!!

Stephanie

Hi

I quite agree, i will travel a long way for a good dexter so a photograph can save a lot of petrol.

Is there any chance when the cattle are on the for sale list a 'S' for short and a 'NS' for non short could be added to make viewing easier?

Could there also be a section for steers? I suspect there mey not be very many available for sale, but I've been looking for a steer or two for a while and only found one in the "bull" section by accident (I never look at this as I'm not looking for a bull!). When I did enquire about this steer it had sold almost immediately!

I think the steer section could be a good addition for people. I will have to look into it and let you all know.

Def a good idea. I have a couple of year old steers that I will be looking to sell in the spring and was thinking of using this site. Its good to see that this is lots of movement in the Dexter world with lots of selling and hopefully buying!
