Well done Paul and Victoria! I bet you are well and truly hooked now. I can remember (in the dim and distant past) when I first started showing dogs, the first cards and rosettes were sooo exciting. They must have been, I showed for nearly 30 years. I may not show any more, but I am still judging. Great fun.
Was any one on here at the Newark and Notts show? We went yesterday, just to look. I was interested in seeing how many non-shorts were shown. We looked round the stalls, all those standing up were shorts, and I found it hard to tell when they were lying down.
Can anyone enlighten me?
Helen

Dear Helen,
We took 4 females to Newark. The standard of entries was very high and I think there were 5 non shorts forward. The Reserve Champion animal was non short legged.Congratulations to Carolanne Raybould on winning the Championship with her beautiful cow Welland View Blossom.
Best Wishes Lisa
P.S Any of the stockpeople you saw that were standing up clearly hadn't been to the stockmans do the night before! The Dexter breeders certainly held there own in the interbreed dancing. It was a great weekend.
