The pic below is our young bull, Woodmagic Hedgehog 4th and he was 1st in the Dexter Bull Class, you would think he would look happier about it but by the time I took this pic, the very pretty, red Dexter cows next to him that had been batting their eyelashes at him all day had gone home, so he was a bit fed up.

The people from Durham who are in the top pic - 1st with Group of 3, kindly gave me a much needed lesson on how to show a Dexter cow, which will hopefully come in very useful one day.

The lady with the absolutely gorgeous in milk cow that won Champion Dexter in Show bought every Dexterite there on the day an ice cream wonderful!!!

A lovely lady called Iris showed Chris the finer points of grooming the bull and many others gave advice - which lets face it we desperately need and all were chatty and friendly.

As I said what a lovely lot they all were!

Hello Stephanie,It looks like you have caught the highly infectious Showbug.A day out with your animals at a show is hard to beat, the atmosphere in the Dexter lines has always been especially friendly, helpful and good humoured.
BUT BE WARNED.....once bitten by this bug there is no known cure!
