I've just seen the weather forecast for Devon and Cornwall. It sounds pretty bad.

It was a pretty loud storm here in South Wales most of last night too but no serious damage that we have found on the farm so far and all fine and quiet now.

What about Devon and other areas?

It's wild here in the NE, the sheep shelter has been gently collapsing for a while but last night saw it's final flal pack.

We did have nice hard ground, now its muddy and horrible. We also had a powercut for 30 hours, no problem as we have a good generator, now we just need a big hairdryer to dry out the land. I have noticed that we seem to be getting through the round hay bales quicker than last year. It looks and smells nicer this year, but perhaps it just hasn't got the sustinance of the 2006 harvest.
