Could some one please tell me if "Saltaire Platinum" is polled as a result of grading up some where in his pedigree ?

Yes Jade Platinum (M2708) was polled, we purchased 2 of his daughters 7 years ago form Lisa Bell Needles Hall herd.

Your answer will come when the Genetics Project is completed, it is the reason this work will be so interesting.

I am considering buying a couple of heifers with Platinum in their pedigree, and have had different people tell me different things, and I am just getting confussed !!!
He looks like a lovely Bull, and the heifers also look lovely,I guess the ultimate decision is MINE !!

Could someone explain "the genetics project" for those of us abroad.

It is the same in the USA some people believe in the "mutation theory" some do not.
