Sad to report Lottie James, Sedgefen Dexters has died. Condolences to Kelvin and her family. Funeral is on Tuesday 6th may at 2pm. Risby Crematorium,,Bury St. Edmunds,, IP28 6RR. Family flowers flowers, contributions to Cancer Research UK.

GPS collars
Has anybody used GPS tracking collars on their Dexters? Not the ones that act as an invisible electric fence but the ones that tell you where the cows are. I do a lot of conservation grazing and the lookers cannot find the cows sometimes. If so do they work?

Hi Judy, There were only 2 herds on the Isle of Man and I dont think either would have kept statistics. The Statenboro herd always bred short to short and had a number of "bulldogs" over the years. They were always declared in the herd book as such. Any non-short heifers were never registe...

Agreed Louisa,. Templeton herd was world famous. Her herd was the oldest in the country. Ypsiity is the oldest prefix but it was inherited by Sue Rheam from her father. Now the DCS online herd book is for members only the animals for sale or hire is resticted to members only. Surely this should be open to new potential buyers? Best to advertise on this site.
